I have always been athletic and considered myself to be in decent shape. In 2013 I decided to compete in the Puerto Rico Iron Man 70.3, and started working with Mike to help get me in shape. In a matter of a few months I dropped my body fat percentage from 17% to 10% and was stronger and in better cardiovascular conditions than I had been in years.
I successfully completed the Iron Man in March of 2013. Thereafter, Mike challenged me to really get my body in the best shape of my life. With his guidance on workout, nutrition and diet, in October of 2014, I entered my first body building competition at 5% body fat and in the best shape of my life. I took third place in the over 35 division!
I am now training with Mike to compete in shows this spring where I plan to successfully compete against men half my age!
